Please read the following privacy policy.
Your Privacy is Our Concern
We, at Colonial Bank FSB, are proud of our long history as a safe, strong and secure bank. The basis of each customer relationship, many of which span generations, is trust. Protecting your privacy is important to us. At the same time, we want to offer you a broad range of financial products and services to help you accomplish your financial goals. We believe that we can do both through the privacy policy outlined below.
Information Collection, Use and Sharing.
Nonpublic personal information may include, but may not be limited to, your name, your home and/or business address, your home and/or business telephone number, your Social Security number, and your deposit and loan account information.
Information about consumers is accumulated from a variety of sources. Some information is provided directly by customers. Other data is gathered as a result of our providing a product or a service to customers. Still other information is obtained from outside sources, such as credit bureaus.
We limit the use and collection of information about our customers to that which we believe is necessary to administer our business, provide quality service, and offer opportunities that we believe may be of interest to our customers, This means that we will use information to help us identify and mitigate potential risks and losses to the bank; and to help us identify additional products and services which we believe customers might want.
Colonial Bank FSB does not sell customer information to nonaffiliated third parties.
In accordance with the Federal Fair Credit Reporting Act, we do exchange our customers credit information with credit reporting agencies. We do provide information about you and your transactions to government agencies or regulators, and to law enforcement agencies where required or allowed by law. Additionally, we disclose information to comply with subpoenas, summons, and judicial process, and to prevent fraud or other illegal activities.
In the course of our business, we maintain relationships with certain nonaffiliated third parties who act as our agents. We may share information about you with these companies to provide you with convenient access to products and services and to enable us to perform necessary business functions and services. This sharing is permitted by law and the receiving agents are required to keep any information that we give them secure and confidential. Examples of these agents include, but are not limited to; Bisys and Open Solutions Inc. (Data Processing), Harland, DeLuxe and Safeguard (Check Printing), Visa (Visa Debit Cards), Efunds, ChexSystems, STAR, and our auditors.
Security Policies and Practices.

We train our employees to protect the information and records that we keep. We prohibit our employees, and agents, from releasing any information about you to any third party in any manner that would violate any applicable law or our policy. We do not provide information about you to anyone without first identifying who they are, and verifying if they may have a legal right to the information.
Your "Opt-Out" Rights.
By Federal Regulation you are granted "opt-out" rights, which allow you to tell us that you do not want your nonpublic personal information disclosed to nonaffiliated third parties. These rights apply to certain circumstances. At this time, Colonial Bank FSB does not disclose information about our customers in the circumstances to which these rights apply. Consequently, at this time you do not have opt-out rights. If this situation should change, we will notify you.
Ending Customer Relationships.
If you should end your customer relationship with us, or if we should end our relationship with you, we will continue to treat all personal records and information as if you were still our customer.
At Colonial Bank FSB we value our customer relationships and recognize and respect our customers' privacy expectations.
